[ PathSnap ]
Modern link shortener built for speed, clarity, and control.

Overview
PathSnap is a particularly developed link shortening platform that aims to give consumers a reliable and effective way to create, manage, and share QR codes and abbreviated URLs. With a top notch full stack architecture and an impeccable user experience, this fully planned and engineered solution combines speed, security, and style.

The Design Process
The project began with a comprehensive Figma UI/UX strategy that included a distinctive interface and branding. The design places a high priority on accessibility, clarity, and simplicity to ensure optimal usability across all devices. Accessibility was given top priority throughout, and the use of ARIA roles, semantic HTML, and high contrast ratios helped to ensure WCAG compliance.

The Development Process
PathSnap’s frontend is built with Next.js, TypeScript, and TailwindCSS. Laravel and MySQL power the backend, which uses API first principles to manage links, route traffic, and authenticate users. To improve performance and interaction, loading bounds, server side rendering, copy-to-clipboard capabilities, and QR code generation were added. The team also used another tool called Jest to check that everything works correctly and is stable. They have big plans for the future too, like adding features that will let you control how often links can be used, make links disappear after a while, and keep track of how many people are using them. This means the app can grow and be used on regular web servers!
